Residents Displaced In Duluth Apartment Fire

DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Two residents of an apartment damaged by a fire Sunday night in Duluth have been displaced.

The Duluth Fire Department was called to a commercial space at 2204 Piedmont Avenue with an apartment located above it.

Smoke was coming from the back side of the upper floor and the tenants had evacuated safely and no injuries were reported.

The fire did an estimated 80 thousand dollars in damage and the cause is being investigated by the Duluth Fire Marshal.
